Responsibilities:

Project Setup & Initiation:

- Manage project kickoff activities once a job is awarded, including job setup, documentation, and internal handoff.

- Review contracts, scope of work, plans, and specifications to ensure full understanding of project requirements.

- Establish project schedules, milestones, and execution plans.

Scheduling & Planning:

- Develop and maintain project schedules to meet contractual deadlines.

- Coordinate ordering of materials and equipment to align with construction timelines.

Contracts & Change Management:

- Administer contracts, subcontracts, and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

- Take charge when change orders show up.

RFIs & Documentation:

- Ensure documentation is current and accessible to all stakeholders.

- Prepare, submit, and track Requests For Information (RFIs) and maintain accurate project records.

Personal & Subcontractor Management:

- Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners, general contractors, and project stakeholders.

- Manage subcontractors and field personnel, monitoring performance, productivity, and quality.

Budget & Cost Control:

- Track project budgets and costs, review invoices, and address cost variances.

- Identify potential cost overruns early and implement corrective actions.

Performance & Safety Monitoring:

- Identify and mitigate project risks related to scope, schedule, cost, and safety.

- Provide regular updates and reports to management.

- Enforce company and site-specific safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with construction or project management software preferred.
